Petcoke Gallery is an exhibition project in Detroit, MI.
Petcoke or petroleum coke is a material that derives from oil refining. Marathon Oil has been harboring petcoke along the Detroit River next to the Southwest neighborhood. As carcinogenic dust, petcoke can penetrate the human airway and cause serious health problems.
